Public Works Director, John Cameron
John Cameron serves as Adamsville Public Works Director. John brings over thirty years experience to his job. He has lived in the Adamsville area all of his live and has a love for the city and people that is unsurpassed. In his position as Public Works Director, John oversees a staff of ten men. The Public Works Department has a wide range of duties.

You will see this department cleaning up the parks and cutting the grass there; removing yard debris; cutting the grass on the right-of-ways on our city streets; collecting household garbage; maintaining our City Government Buildings; and maintaining our Police Department’s fleet of vehicles. In addition to these, you will see this departments employees going that extra mile for city functions like our annual Public Safety Day and the Adamsville Christmas Parade. The Public Works Department takes pride in their department and their city—and it shows!
